The twin-lens reflex camera uses a larger film than a regular film camera(35mm). It has two lenses of identical length mounted on top of one another. The bottom lenses prints the picture onto the film and the top lens allows the photographer to view the subject. When the subject is in focus on the top lens, it is focused on the bottom one too.
